I love this hotel. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. The space of the room is kind of small but with great facilities.

Could have been...but isn´t.Perhaps because of reception personal.Basically god but small rooms. If there hade been wireless broadband in the rooms there could have been more stays even with the unintressted reception!

When we arrived at the hotel, we completed our check in service, along with some other people. we were then told that there was no space left at the hotel and we would be moved not far away, that was ok and we didnt complain, but when the other people complained about being moved to earls court, the hotel decided to move us all the way to Earls Court instead. i always thought decency shoudl be rewarded not punished. Now i know i should always complain to hotels to get the best service.

The proximity to the tube was the good thing and I saved on travel. The rooms are a bit tight and toilets small, but with some adjustment for price, it was worth it.

When we arrived we were told that we would be bumped up to an executive room at no extra cost which seemed great. However when we got to the room it was worse than standard rooms Id been to in other hotels. It was small and pokey and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. There was no kettle or hairdryer despite the fact that there was supposed to be. The numbers on the door were scribbled on a piece of paper and stuck on and the quilt had burn marks and ink stains on it. To add insult to injury, when we checked out I was told that I had made a telephone call to an 0870 number. The time when it was allegedly made was whilst we were out so clearly someone with access to the key had entered our room. I had left my credit/bank cards in there and as a precaution I have now had to have a block put on them which leaves me with no access to money until I receive the new ones which will take about a week. To say that I am not impressed with the Hyde Hotel is an understatement.

We were very pleased with our stay at The Hyde Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great value for money. It would have been nice if we had tea making facillaties, but over all we were happy.

After I paid £55 for the room the hotel asked me for £50 more on my credid card for Pre-authorisation wich surprised me. They told me it would automaticly be canceld after 5 days! Is this normal practice?
