Good value for money hotel. Very convenient location just a few steps from the Paddington Station. Unfortunately the good impression was gone when on the first evening the receptionist tried to make me move to another hotel claiming that by mistake my room was sold twice. Although I had a confirmed booking and even have paid when checking in receptionist was insisting o me moving to a different hotel he had arranged for me – such things should not happen – so be prepared and have your booking confirmation for just in case.

Wed been in the room for about an hour and the heating system suddenly started blowing out air that had a most unpleasant odour. It was coming from the toilet plumbing. Though it was rectified when we reported it, we werent too happy at being subjected so the experience in the first place...

The hotel itself has a reasonably good location, near to the tube stations and a nice break away from the busier parts of central london. However, the service was a little indifferent, and the staff seemed lacking in hospitality. The room was basic, a little cramped and if you stay in the basic accomodation you get put in the basement. Heat is also a problem, as the hotel seemed to be overly hot. On the whole the hotel is ok, but you can find better deals elsewhere.

Good hotel, bedrooms crowded, small bathroom, no hot water in bathroom on the night we stayed. Lots of other guests complaining.

This was certainley not a 4 star rated hotel. Small rooms made almost impossible to get inn with a babywagon. Internet functioned badly and now preassure in the showers.

This is a much smarter hotel that the images on the website suggest. Our room (a triple) was split level across a huge beautiful window and was clean, well equipped and well furnished. The main bedroom was very cramped though, making it almost impossible to open the drawers because of the position of the bed. That said it had a small kitchen which we were not expecting which is always handy especially as I was travelling with my children. The Reception staff were a bit dopey but overall it was very good value given its location just on the perimeter of Hyde Park. I would use this hotel again.

Good Location, small room but nice decor, good value for London. It has AC which was required this summer. Quiet at night. VERY small bathroom, room for 1 only,(cupboard) but it all worked and was very clean. No viewable picture on TV in room 402 and was

Did not stay at the Hotel. Due to "Leaking air conditioning" we were told we could not stay at the hotel. We were moved to a pit in Earls Court (No air Con.)

I understand if the airco cannot work in extreme heat - BUT: We were given a dirty room during checkin, we had to ask for a fan (twice), they moved customers back & forth between their other hotels like it was no big deal & the manager was never around to speak with the customers (in the 3 days I stayed there). Thankfully we had a nice breakfast every morning!

Good location for Paddington Hotel is located good if you need to be close to Paddington Station. Reception is nice, room was okay. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare with only trainees around, rooms not ready, keys not working etc.
