In general i feel that this hotel needs some kind of an update. The curtains in our room were shabby and there was scale on the taps in the bathroom. There were no music channel as a selection or it was a case of not being able to tune into it as the system was down. Mini bar very basic

If it had been classed as a 3 star hotel for 59 GBP, I would have been pleased with this hotel. The price was good for a London airport hotel but its star rating is wrong - at least for the room we were given. The hotel itself looks very grand and attractive, but our room had surprising deficiencies: shower handle coming away from the wall, handle came off the fridge cupboard door, peeling paintwork in places, window misted up in morning, no hair drier and no iron + board (did have trouser press)

The overall standard was very acceptable for the price. One small problem we did not receive our early morning call as requested, good job I setbthe mobile phone alarm. Because we had a 0500hrs check in we were unable to use the hotel shuttle and had to pay £15 for a taxi to North terminal bit of a blow. The hotel is very convienitly situated for Gatwick we will continue to use the hotel as we have done on many previous ocassions.

My wife and I booked this hotel because it was close to Gatwick. We only stayed one night on our way on holiday to the states. This hotel was a great find! It had a beautiful garden to relax in, it had great food and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were really nice. We plan on going back sometimes for weekend get-a-ways. We absolutely loved it!

This hotel was very convenient for a one night stay over in London. The rooms were very cozy and cute. Better than expected. Loved the granite bath countertops! The only complaint was the hot breakfast buffet was 15 pounds a person! In US dollars, thats $30! Not worth it, but the only breakfast option. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The hotel is very nice, and the service afforded us by the staff was fantastic. The only downside was the health Club attached to the hotel. Some of the facilities were iut of order during our visit (Steam Room, and some of the showers) and on the second day the lighting in the ladies changing area was out of order. This did not spoil our enjoyment and only mention it to give a fair review. The Sunday Carvery in the Brasserie is great value for money. We will definitely be staying here again and will also us the hotel for a stay over when travelling abroad.

Excellent hotel, Great Location,friendly staff The staff were informative and friendly. The facilities and services offered by the Cophorne made it extremely easy for myself and my family to reach our destinations.
