I stayed the night before running the marathon, and they could not have been nicer or more helpful. If you need to be around the city area of London this is a great location, rooms are modern and clean, I stsy in a number of hotels and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very very nice, spacious room, clean and tidy, with nice decor. staff were friendly and welcoming, Id recommend the Apex to anyone wanting a nice hotel, Ill be a regular from now on.

Nothing really annoyed me but also nothing made me feel something extraordinary, except maybe the toy in the bath (very good idea). I think as the header says a good value for money hotel.

Unfortunately I had to work over xmas but found this hotel in perfect proximity, rooms were very tidy and comfortable, if somewhat a little small. I asked for a view of Tower Bridge and was told that this had been granted, however our view consisted of a large office block! After working all night, my do not disturb sign was unfortunately ignored by the cleaning staff who woke me up. Service a little slow downstairs in the bar but I put this down to the festive time of year and the hotel being a little under staffed. Overall, I would stay here again and would reccommend it without much hesitation.

we booked here for our second wedding anniverary. The hotel was lovely, we were really pleased with the whole hotel and would certainly stay again.

Hotel was excellent - extremely clean and the staff were very helpful. Only disappointment was that the restaurant was not open at the weekends. The furnishing and bathroom was fantastic and better than the malmaison which I have stayed in - for half the price.

We booked 3 double rooms. 2 of the rooms were on the 1st floor and were a reasonably good size with walk in shower, plasma TV and apparently a good housekeeping service. My partner and i had the 3rd room which was on the 7th floor, was much smaller, had a shower but one contained in the bath. The worst thing was the housekeeping. At 8am on the Saturday Bank Holiday they came knocking on the door. So that night I put the ‘don’t disturb’ sign on the door. They ignored this and knocked and walked in at 8am on the Sunday! On top of this they didn’t provide fresh towels even when they did enter the room - both days I had to request these. I have to say though I think t is something to do with the 7th floor because the 1st floor guests had no complaint in this regard! Location was excellent, staff were nice enough if not a little moody but all we needed was a base for attending a family wedding near by so it was ideal.

Extremely comfortable rooms. Good service received from all staff. Ideally located. The complimentary upgrade made it even better. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a trendy place to stay on the edge of the business district and/or somewhere close enough to tourist sites.

Perfect for romance, and business. The hotel was totally fab! Decor is gorgeous and staff were great. The location could not be better, right next to tube station tower hill. Price is worth it 100%, made our stay perfect ;)
