In a prime location on
Tottenham Court Road in the West End, with Regent's Park, the
British Museum, Oxford Street and Soho all on your doorstep,
sits the Radisson Grafton Hotel. Perfectly located for both business
and leisure. Public areas and suites display eastern art
including Qing dynasty temple bells and new work by Vietnamese
painters An Quan and Bich Nguyet.
Guest Rooms:
All rooms at the Radisson Grafton have air conditioning and have been ergonomically
designed to give guests a clean, clear and comfortable space
to make their own. Bedroom furniture is in rare dark Wenge
wood, Italian leather and metal chairs, Percale cotton bed
linen and bespoke wall coverings. Security is high with CCTV,
throughout, and floor access is by room key only. Bathrooms
are clad in Sicilian carrara marble with Jacob Delafon suites.
Everything is designed to make you feel special. Suites
include specially commissioned designer furniture, Phillipe
Stark bathroom suites and Bose sound systems among many unique
features. Each room at the Radisson Edwardian Grafton features European plug sockets, advanced
telephone systems with your own personal telephone number and
voicemail. 'In hotel' mobile phones are available on request.
Deluxe rooms provide extra work space, additional lighting and
ergonomically designed chairs.
The Restaurant:
Simple cooking, simple
food and quality ingredients - that's our philosophy at the
Aston bar and restaurant. In many ways its going back to the
roots of cooking; having a passion for the best flavours and
tastes of a season. The style of cuisine is Modern British -
which draws together classic cooking techniques with great
local ingredients and subtle recipes - some with ancient
roots, others very modern. The name of the restaurant comes
from the Aston Martin club, which was founded here back in the
1930s.
Groups & Meetings:
The
Radisson Grafton has 13
conference rooms which can cater for up to 120 people. The
Warren Room provides a great alternative, self-contained with
its own bar, buffet area and separate street entrance. During
the refurbishment of the Radisson Edwardian Grafton hotel, each of the rooms now has a
full range of the latest presentation and communications
technology, with specialist services.
Local Attractions:
Regent's Park, Georgian
London, Fitzrovia and Charlotte Street, Madame Tussauds and
the Planetarium, Camden Town market and nightlife, British
Museum, new British Library.
Get up to Camden Town for Europe's biggest street market - but
do it early, before the crowds swell. As you go, grab the
ingredients for a picnic. Stroll along the Eastern side of
Regent's Park, take in the zoo if you please, or watch one of
the countless football, cricket or baseball games. Pick a
picnic spot out of harm's way. Charlotte Street has great
restaurants, but if you like sushi, one of London's best and
simplest Japanese restaurants is Ikkyu - an underground den
next to Goodge Street Station.
