This strikingly attractive hotel has a wonderful, central
location. In fact, it is only a short walk from the British
Museum and many other attractions. Built in 1898, this hotel
is a great example of the Victorian style, which is apparent
on the interior as well as from the outside. This wonderful
Hotel Russell occupies a typical Victorian building featuring all
the comforts of a luxury hotel.
The Hotel Russell has been partially refurbished whilst retaining
its original character with a sweeping, marble staircase,
traditional wooden panelling and crystal chandeliers.
Ideally located within the historic area of Bloomsbury, the
Hotel Russell has an unexpected view over Russell Square gardens and
is situated close to the main attractions of London and the
Russell Square subway station.

Russell features 358 guestrooms with Economy Budget, Deluxe or
Ambassador rooms. These include one double, one king (most
Ambassador rooms) or two single beds; each room can
accommodate two guests.
The décor in the standard
rooms is both attractive and traditional. All of the guest
rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and they are clean and
comfortable. The rooms all come equipped with tea/coffee
making facilities, satellite TV, Play station, and
pay-per-view movies.

the Fitzroy Doll's Restaurant
- the chefs have taken the
best and most authentic elements of modern European cuisine
and assembled them together in one menu, with a choice of a
set menu or A la Carte. They also offer an excellent selection
of first class wines from renowned European and New World

10am and Dinner 5.30pm - 10pm
The Virginia Woolf's Brasserie
- is open all day serving grills, burgers, pastas and
salads. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal, it is also popular
with families and those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.
