In 1787, Thomas Lord chose Dorset
Square to lay down a cricket ground which, in 1814, moved a
mile north to what is now known as Lords Cricket Ground.
The rooms are decorated in the grand
English country house style with antiques and original art.
Bathrooms are a modern yet traditional mix of marble and
mahogany. The first floor bedrooms have balconies and
beautiful views overlooking the square. The Potting Shed
restaurant and bar offers excellent food and wine. Location: Regentís Park is only a short walk away and Bond Street, the
West End theatres and the Cityís business centre are within
easy reach by taxi, bus or underground. Heathrow airport can
be reached in 15 minutes by express train, from Paddington
station, which is just a few minutes away by taxi.
